Karl Schlabach, CLU®, ChFC®, CFP®, CExP™

I grew up on a small dairy farm in eastern Holmes county Ohio, where I spent many days in a tractor seat and doing chores around the barn. In high school, great memories and life lessons came from being a member of the state championship Hiland Hawks basketball team in 1992 under coach Perry Reese, Jr.

My wife Jolene and I now live in Apple Creek, OH and have two kids, three dogs, and two cats. With the kids active in softball, baseball, football and basketball, we spend most of our evenings and weekends attending all their sports events. We also enjoy camping as a family any chance we get.

I have been with Hummel Group since 1996, starting immediately after graduating from Mount Vernon Nazarene College (now University). The most rewarding part of my job is helping create a financial roadmap for clients to give them confidence in their future.
