I grew up on a small farm in eastern Holmes County and graduated from Hiland High School in 2000. After high school I attended Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, VA and graduated in 2004 with a Bachelors in Business Administration. While living in Virginia, I worked as a teller at a local bank and then an entry level accounting position at a stone quarry. I loved living in The Valley, but I knew it wouldn’t be forever when I met my now husband.
In 2009, I moved to southeastern Pennsylvania to be closer to my future husband and his family. I accepted a job as an Accounts Payable Clerk at a national telecommunications company. After a few years, I moved over to the role of Financial Analyst. While living in Pennsylvania, we were blessed with our daughter, Charlotte, and son, Brantley. We lived there until 2018 when we decided to move our family to Ohio. We now reside in Sugarcreek with our daughter, son, and cat.
I joined Hummel Group in 2018 when I moved back to Ohio and has been wonderful to see many familiar faces and to make new connections as well. My role at Hummel Group includes answering phone calls, processing paperwork, data entry, and contacting carriers with inquiries from clients and/or advisors.
